Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support patients and healthcare providers from a remote, office-based setting. The role focuses on phone-based prescription processing, data entry, and collaboration with pharmacists to ensure quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, active PTCB/NHA certification, and state registration. 18+ years of age and prior pharmacy experience are required; travel is not a primary responsibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and must maintain a pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or NHA).
• Maintain active pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be 18+ years old and have prior pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment.
• Enter high volumes of prescription data with speed and accuracy.
• Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications or transfers using pharmacy software.
• Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties including prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks.
• Help onboard new patients and maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
