Cardinal Health is seeking a Remote Pharmacy Technician, Order Processing to support pharmacists and accurately prepare and deliver prescription medications. The role emphasizes client communication and adherence to pharmacy regulations.

You will work from a dedicated home office, handling orders, data entry and patient inquiries in coordination with the pharmacy team. The position offers benefits and an hourly wage range.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mail order or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Active state or national certification in good standing.
• Insurance billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound/outbound calls to set up orders with providers, patients and staff.
• Input patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions as allowed by state boards.
• Take verbal prescriptions from licensed prescribers where permitted.
• Review insurance status and adjudicate claims for orders.
• Enter prescriptions and maintain knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Communicate with patients, clinics, caregivers and physicians professionally.
