A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I – Prior Authorization for a fully remote role. The position offers $20.00/hour, standard training, and a Monday–Friday schedule within an 8:00 AM–8:00 PM window.

Qualifications

• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration, or eligibility for state registration.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• At least 1 year of high-volume healthcare call center experience.
• Prior authorization experience required.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and faxes from members, providers, pharmacies, and other healthcare contacts.
• Provide professional and courteous telephone assistance throughout the prior authorization process.
• Review information according to established, criteria-based prior authorization procedures.
• Document approvals, denials, and other case information completely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Identify situations requiring clinical judgment and appropriately transfer clinical questions to a pharmacist.
• Provide clear and accurate information to members, providers, and other callers.
• Research information using pharmacy, claims, and prior authorization systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health and personal information.
• Follow established policies, procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Navigate multiple computer applications while communicating with callers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes.
• Provide professional customer service in a high-volume healthcare call center environment.
• Participate in required training and team activities.
