Job summary

HireTalent - Staffing & Recruiting Firm is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support prior authorization workflows and improve member and provider experiences. This role focuses on processing prior authorization requests and assisting with escalated PA issues under pharmacist guidance.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of pharmacy-related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage information flow via phone, fax, and portal. Prior authorization knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience in a pharmacy-related field.

Responsibilities

• Process prior authorization requests and track them.
• Prepare and distribute PA requests for pharmacist/physician review.
• Collect medical information via phone, fax, and portal and document decisions.
• Meet timeliness requirements and escalate when pharmacist review is needed.
• Communicate PA outcomes clearly and accurately.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
