Actalent is hiring a 100% remote Pharmacy Technician to review prior authorizations and support a large healthcare insurance department. The role is laptop-based with limited phone work, handling eligibility, authorizations, and communications with pharmacists.

Candidates should have 2+ years of pharmacy tech experience, PA knowledge, strong customer service, and the ability to work remotely in a closed setting with a reliable internet connection.

Formación

• 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Prior Authorization experience is required.
• Customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills and data entry.
• Ability to work remote and independently, HIPAA compliant.

Responsabilidades

• Review and determine prior authorizations for prescriptions.
• Enter member demographics and prescription details into data systems.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalations.
• Escalate prescription questions to pharmacists for interpretation.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls from patients or physicians.
