Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Outreach Eligibility Specialist to support the growth of our specialty pharmacy program. You will identify eligible patients, complete benefits investigations, and maintain strict confidentiality to ensure seamless patient care.

Minimum qualifications include being a state-registered Louisiana Pharmacy Technician (CPhT preferred) with 1+ year of experience, plus strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.

Qualifications

• State-registered Louisiana Pharmacy Technician; CPhT preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician; High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication, organization, and tech skills.
• Empathy, integrity, and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct benefits investigations using approved tools and pharmacy systems.
• Review medical records to confirm current medication needs.
• Document all findings clearly and accurately.
• Partner with team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.
• Identify trends, solve problems, and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ongoing job knowledge.
• Perform other duties as needed.
