Job summary

Hone is a remote-first online medical clinic seeking a Pharmacy Operations Specialist to join the team. You will report to the VP of Pharmacy and Lab Operations and act as a subject matter expert throughout the medication fulfillment process.

In this role, you will manage prescription processing, ensure timely shipments with partners, and maintain data accuracy while upholding patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a healthcare operations role; telemedicine startup preferred
• Experience with pharmacy or lab software applications and prescribing workflows
• Awareness of regulatory and legal requirements in telemedicine
• Technically savvy and quick learner
• Patient-centric with strong attention to detail
• Professional communication with healthcare providers and vendors

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions accurately using e-Prescribing software and internal tools
• Coordinate shipments with internal and vendor partners to ensure timely delivery of medications
• Enter data including prescription authoring and lab orders with attention to detail
• Investigate prescription and lab order issues to resolve errors or gaps
• Own relationships with pharmacy partners from launch through ongoing quality reviews and forecasting
