Job summary

WellSense Health Plan is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Data Analyst to lead enterprise analytics for the Pharmacy Department. You will architect data models, develop dashboards, and drive data-driven decisions to improve costs, quality, and member outcomes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee regulatory submissions, and ensure data integrity across complex systems using SQL, SAS, and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, information management, information systems, statistics, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience.
• Working knowledge of industry coding standards (e.g., national drug codes, GPI, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a centralized dashboard for pharmacy financial, operational, and clinical performance measures.
• Lead regulatory reporting from development, validation, and submission with vendor partners to ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct data queries to monitor performance metrics, including Medicare STAR measures and quality initiatives.
• Oversee PDE submissions of Part D claims to CMS and resolve discrepancies for alignment.
• Serve as Pharmacy Data Steward and advise across departments on data exchange specs.
• Support UAT and QA testing to ensure data integrity and system readiness.
