Job summary

SelectQuote’s SelectRX division seeks a Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to support licensed pharmacists from a remote location. You will accurately enter medication orders, review data, and help maintain patient records while complying with HIPAA.

This role emphasizes meticulous data handling, coordination with pharmacists, and adherence to state/federal laws. A national scope may apply, with base hourly pay ranging from $17 to $20.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification and licensure required.
• Experience with prescription processing and data entry.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy practices.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process medication orders into the pharmacy operating system.
• Process and enter prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Conduct medication history interviews and counseling on drug interactions.
• Maintain patient records with high attention to detail.
• Refer prescription questions to Pharmacist/Supervisor.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all duties.
