Qualifications

• Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, or marketing.
• Normally requires three years of experience in a healthcare-related environment.
• Active Pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy required.

Responsibilities

• Convey professional communication with physician offices.
• Responsible for communication and documentation of clarification requests.
• Make outbound calls to physician offices for prescription updates.
• Verify written prescription clarifications or refill requests.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist patients and Pharmacy Care Coordinators with drug therapy.
