Job summary

PharMerica in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Pharmacy Customer Service Specialist. You will act as the link between the pharmacy, facilities, providers, and healthcare teams, answering questions, coordinating refills, and resolving issues while maintaining a professional, detail-oriented approach.

The role starts with six weeks of on-site training in Raleigh, after which you may transition to remote work, depending on training and performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of call center experience or related fast-paced environment
• Associate's degree or higher with 1 year of call center experience or equivalent
• Experience in customer-facing roles in home care, healthcare, financial services, insurance, claims, billing, or call center environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming contact center calls within defined response time standards
• Document call details accurately in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Provide information on products, services, retail locations, and service line inquiries based on customer needs
• Meet established quality assurance standards and performance metrics
• Resolve customer complaints and support problem-solving to achieve satisfactory outcomes
• Process orders, route calls to appropriate resources, and follow up as necessary
• Maintain flexibility to support varying duties and operational needs
