Job summary

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Billing Specialist to handle timely, accurate submission of medical and pharmacy claims for Ambulatory Infusion Centers, Specialty Pharmacy, and Home Infusion. The role collaborates with intake, approvals, AR, and clinical teams, ensuring compliance and maximizing reimbursements.

You will validate documentation, manage claim edits, and ensure payer deadlines are met in a remote, US-based setting with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year healthcare billing experience required.
• CareTend experience required.
• Experience with infusion services, specialty pharmacy, physician, hospital outpatient, or home infusion billing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HCPCS, J-Codes, CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, and payer requirements.
• Ability to review documentation, obtain authorizations, and validate claims.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit professional, facility, infusion, and pharmacy claims to payers.
• Verify documentation, authorizations, and charges prior to submission.
• Monitor claim transmission and promptly resolve rejections.
• Ensure claims are submitted within payer filing deadlines.
• Review and validate HCPCS, J-Codes, CPTs, ICD-10 codes and place of service.
• Collaborate with intake, authorization, AR, and client teams to maximize reimbursement.
