Job summary

Soleo Health is seeking a Billing Specialist to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy, remotely within the USA. The role focuses on insurance and self-pay billing (excludes Medicare) with electronic and paper claim submissions.

Requires 2 years of home infusion billing experience and HCPCS coding knowledge. Responsibilities include claim preparation, pricing review, payer follow-up, and ensuring clean claims.

Qualifications

• 2 years of home infusion billing experience required.
• Knowledge of HCPCS coding and medical terminology.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Must be computer literate and dependable; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate medical claims based on contracted agreements.
• Review pricing discrepancies and fee schedules updates.
• Create and submit secondary electronic pharmacy and medical claims.
• Bill manufacturer copays and process claims in portals or by paper.
• Follow up with payers and third-party vendors on claim status.
• Educate staff and answer insurance/billing questions.
• Review EMR data to ensure clean claims ready for submission.
• Monitor unbilled delivery tickets and ensure timely billing.
• Coordinate with pharmacy team to resolve PBM issues.
• Maintain current knowledge of policies and compliance.
