Job summary

Mercor is seeking a seasoned pharmacologist for a remote, contract role to support pre-market programs through PK/PD analyses, dose selection, and exposure–response evaluation in a cross-functional team.

This position requires 5+ years (10–25 preferred) in clinical pharmacology with PharmD/PhD/MD credentials and 20–25 hours per week availability. The work emphasizes independent, asynchronous collaboration and rigorous data evaluation.

Qualifications

• Location: US or Canada.
• 5+ years of experience required; 10–25 years preferred.
• Experience supporting pre-market programs (Phases 1-3) as a clinical pharmacologist with hands-on PK/PD, dose selection, and exposure–response analysis.

Responsibilities

• Simulate the pharmacology layer of each data room, including PK and PD datasets, dosing regimens, and bioanalytical reports. Ensure dose rationale and concentration data are clinically plausible.
• Author dose selection rationale, drug concentration and response sections, and interaction content. Design prompts, golden outputs, and rubrics for AI agent evaluation.
• Evaluate exposure–response relationships to reconcile against efficacy and safety outputs.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure pharmacology data withstands expert scrutiny.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
