Job summary

Mercor is seeking a clinical pharmacologist to contribute to multiple workflows, including generation of PK/PD datasets, dosing regimens, and exposure‑response analyses to ensure plausible pharmacology data across data rooms.

The role also covers authorship of dose rationale, drug–drug and drug–disease interaction content, and the design of prompts, rubrics, and golden outputs to evaluate AI agents performing pharmacology tasks.

Qualifications

• Location: US, Canada, or France.
• YOE: 5+ required; 10-25 preferred.
• Education: PharmD, PhD in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics or a related field, MD, or equivalent.
• Hourly availability: 20-25 hours/week, minimum. 30+ preferred.
• Experience: MUST have supported pre-market (Phases 1-3) programs as a clinical pharmacologist, with hands‑on PK/PD work, dose selection and escalation, and exposure‑response analysis. First‑in‑human experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the pharmacology data generation, including PK/PD datasets, dosing and escalation regimens, exposure‑response relationships, and bioanalytical reports.
• Authorship of dose selection rationale, drug concentration and response sections, and content on drug–drug and drug–disease interactions; design prompts, golden outputs, and rubrics to quantify AI performance.
