Mercor is seeking a Medical Safety Expert for a remote contract role. You will generate and validate the safety layer of clinical data rooms and author DSURs and PBRERs, designing prompts and rubrics to quantify AI agent capabilities.

Responsibilities include interpreting benefit-risk against safety data, conducting fatal-case workups, and working independently to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance. Requires MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent with 5+ years in medical safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in medical safety or pharmacovigilance; 10–25 years preferred.
• MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent required.
• Experience authoring DSUR and PBRER for pre- and post-commercial reporting.
• Able to interpret benefit-risk and perform full fatal-case workups.

Responsabilités

• Generate and validate the safety layer of clinical data rooms, including adverse event data and SAE records.
• Author DSURs and PBRERs, designing prompts and rubrics to quantify AI capabilities.
• Interpret benefit-risk against safety data, exposure estimates, and signal outputs.
• Conduct full fatal-case workups, handling investigator vs sponsor causality.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
