Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Remote Pharmacist to support multiple hospitals with remote access to clinical systems and formulary management. This role offers part-time and PRN schedules, with licensure required in at least one listed state.

You will review orders, research drug information, monitor dosing, and ensure patient safety while adhering to hospital policies and privacy rules. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication and clinical documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed in good standing by the State Pharmacy Board.
• Successful completion of an accredited pharmacy program.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtain census and admissions data from VAB for each facility.
• Use Powerchart and PharmNet to enter, verify and manage medication orders.
• Research drug information questions using online resources.
• Review system alerts for drug interactions and dosing issues and resolve.
• Document clinical interventions and communicate with hospital pharmacists.
