Job summary

Delos Insurance Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Underwriter to support personal lines property underwriting operations, focusing on homeowners and residential risks. Qualifications

• 2–4 years of property underwriting or related personal lines insurance experience.
• Understanding of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and risk selection.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Experience using underwriting platforms, exposure assessment tools, or BI dashboards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting and risk assessment for new and renewal submissions.
• Review, evaluate, and underwrite homeowners and residential property lines.
• Manage daily underwriting activities, inspections, endorsements, and tasks.
• Evaluate property risk per guidelines and risk appetite.
• Identify profitable risks while minimizing adverse selection.
• Meet or exceed production and quality standards.
• Provide timely guidance to agents and support underwriting education.
