Job summary

Ledcor Group seeks a Permitting Specialist to research, prepare documentation, and obtain municipal and agency permits for cable and fiber networks in the United States. You will build relationships with local governments and manage permit packages, ensuring compliance and timely approvals through project phases.

You will collaborate with project teams, address permitting challenges, and serve as a subject matter expert on codes and regulations. Travel about 15% is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with permitting processes for telecom or utility projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with local, state and federal permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with municipalities and governing bodies to obtain permitting and zoning approvals.
• Resolves permitting issues to ensure project deliverables.
• Gathers information and identifies permitting requirements for projects with the project team.
• Develops solutions to address anticipated permitting challenges.
• Informs project teams about government requirements to aid permitting compliance during approval and construction stages.
• Acts as subject matter expert on local municipal and state codes.
• Coordinates and tracks permit applications and compliance during project phases.
• Oversees document control to meet customer requirements.
