Ledcor Group is seeking a Permitting Specialist to manage municipal and agency permits for cable and fiber networks. The role involves building relationships with local governments, coordinating permit applications, and ensuring compliance through approval and construction stages.

You will collaborate with project teams to identify requirements, address permitting challenges, and maintain documentation while working in a remote position with ~15% travel.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of permitting experience in Telecommunications or related fields.
• Experience submitting permit packages for Telecom, Power, Gas, Construction and/or other utility projects.
• Familiarity with local regulations and DOT/County rules preferred.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, scheduling software; Quick Base preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with municipalities to obtain permitting and zoning approvals.
• Resolves permitting issues to keep project deliverables on track.
• Gathers information and identifies permitting requirements with project teams.
• Coordinates permit applications and compliance through design and construction phases.
• Acts as subject matter expert on local codes and regulations.
• Oversees document control and ensures customer requirements compliance.
