Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking a Permitting Specialist to research, prepare documentation, and acquire municipal and agency permits for cable and fiber optics networks. You will build stakeholder relationships and manage the permitting process from project initiation through construction while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Remote work flexibility is available, with travel up to 15% and duties including coordination with municipalities, utility agencies, and project teams.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of permitting experience within Telecommunications, Outside Plant or Field Operations.
• Experience submitting permit packages for Telecom, Power, Gas, Construction and/or other utilities projects.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations; familiarity with DOT/Federal/County regulations preferred.
• Strong computer background with MS Word, Excel; scheduling software; Quick Base preferred.
• Strong communication skills with verbal, written and electronic contacts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with local municipalities and governing bodies to obtain necessary permitting for projects.
• Works to resolve permitting issues to ensure project deliverables meet timelines.
• Gathers information and identifies permitting requirements for projects with the project team.
• Coordinates and tracks permit applications and compliance during approval and construction phases.
• Oversees document control and ensures compliance with customer requirements.
