Job summary

CBRE is seeking a People Business Partner to support rollout of HR initiatives and policy communication. The role sits within the People Strategy and Operations function, focused on designing, executing, and monitoring HR programs.

Travel up to 40% monthly to site locations is required. The position requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong MS Office skills including PeopleSoft and SmartSheet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PeopleSoft & SmartSheet)
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset
• Sophisticated math skills for percentages and financial calculations

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and assist with disciplinary actions and performance improvement counseling
• Work with managers to identify employment-related risks and begin investigations and grievances
• Manage HR functions for a business unit including employment, labor relations, and compensation
• Conduct training on performance management, diversity, and related topics
• Explain difficult or sensitive information to stakeholders
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values across teams
• Travel to sites up to 40% monthly; walk in warehouses; weekly airport travel
