Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a People Business Partner to support the rollout and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. This role sits in the People Strategy and Operations function and helps design, execute, and monitor human resource programs.

You will conduct trainings, assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management. Travel up to 40% monthly; prefer to live near a major airport in the Philadelphia or New York area while working

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills for financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives in the organization.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and assist with disciplinary actions and performance improvement counseling.
• Work with managers to identify employment-related risks and begin investigations and grievances.
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, and compensation for a business unit.
• Conduct trainings on performance management, diversity, and more.
• Apply knowledge of standard principles to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across the function.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values to build consensus.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, and service activities within the team.
