Employer.com in San Francisco/Remote is seeking a detailed People Operations Specialist for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will manage onboarding for large cohorts, handle contractor onboarding, conversions, and HRIS data in Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance across systems.

You will collaborate with People Partners, Payroll, Legal, IT, and Internal Tools while improving processes and documentation for onboarding, tickets, and FAQs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR operations, or HRIS administration.
• Experience at other tech companies, ideally fast-growing organizations.
• Workday (HRIS) experience strongly recommended; Greenhouse or similar HR systems experience a plus.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent professional judgment for time-sensitive processes related to compensation, performance, and compliance.
• Careful handling of employee data, with a firm commitment to accuracy and privacy.
• Reliable and responsive when fielding urgent questions from employees and People team partners.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional partners.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively as priorities shift.
• Customer service oriented, treating internal teams as clients, with a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable working as part of a small team, collaborating daily on onboarding and tickets and supporting each other during busy periods

Responsabilités

• Onboarding: Own day-to-day onboarding execution for large new hire cohorts.
• Contingent Worker Onboarding: Collect information, initiate background checks, coordinate start dates.
• Conversions and Status Changes: Process full-time to part-time conversions, contractor modifications,Vendor communications.
• HRIS Administration: Maintain employee records in Workday and ensure data accuracy across systems.
• People Tickets and Documentation: Triage internal questions, maintain onboarding guides and FAQs.
