Job summary

HarZa, a remote-first team building the Oralux family, seeks a People Operations coordinator to run engagement, onboarding, records, and communications for a distributed workforce. You’ll transform ideas into durable initiatives and back them with reliable processes, reporting to the Head of People & Compliance.

With 2–4 years in People Ops or recruiting coordination, you’ll launch initiatives yourself, support 50+ remote colleagues across countries, and communicate clearly with warmth.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years in People Operations, HR coordination, recruiting coordination or employee experience.
• Startup or scale-up experience, fast-moving environment without a manual.
• Launched people initiatives yourself (engagement, recognition, onboarding improvements).
• Experience supporting a remote team of 50+ across countries with parallel requests.
• Proactive and creative: identify gaps, propose solutions, close loops on time.
• Clear, warm written communication and polite follow-up with senior staff.
• Discretion with personal data and judgments on handling sensitive information.
• Comfort with learning tools quickly: ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, Workable.
• Availability to overlap with our window, 8am to 12pm EST, Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Engagement programs end to end: book club, wellness challenges, recognition, prize fulfillment.
• Onboarding complete on day one: gather info, set up accounts, schedule onboarding calls.
• Recruiting coordination: ensure timely responses and scheduling with Talent Acquisition.
• Offers and contractor agreements: draft, track, file, obtain approvals for non-standard terms.
• Manage monthly 1:1 cycle: assign tasks, send reminders, ensure 100% completion.
• HRIS as single source of truth: update joins, leavers, titles, managers in Workable within 2 days.
• First-line employee relations: handle routine questions and attendance follow-ups.
• Support on All-Hands, SaaS invoicing routing, verifications, and employer brand content.
