The ideal candidate is barred in California with 7+ years of experience in employment law, EPLI, and complex depositions. The position supports professional development in a supportive culture and involves in-person appearances in

Qualifications

• 7+ years of employment law and litigation experience.
• Experience with Professional Employer Organizations and high-volume matters.
• Must be barred in the state and located in Northern California.
• Proficient in drafting, responding to discovery, and managing depositions.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in class actions and PAGA cases is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day employment matters from inception to resolution
• Draft and respond to discovery and pleadings, and argue motions
• Take and defend depositions and represent clients in hearings
• Handle administrative charges and EPLI-covered claims
• Develop case strategies and maintain communication with clients and insurance carriers
• Supervise and mentor legal staff and coordinate with partners
• Engage in ongoing in-person court appearances in Northern California
• Work collaboratively with multiple partners on diverse cases
