Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Special Counsel Employment Attorney for a leading national labor and employment law firm. This remote, senior-level role emphasizes independent case management, leadership, and exemplary client service with no mandatory business development.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in employment law and litigation, California bar preferred, and a JD from an accredited law school. Competitive salary and robust bonus structure are offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of employment law and litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage complex matters and supervise others.
• Strong writing, analytical, and case management skills.
• California bar admission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of employment matters, including administrative charges, demand letters, and litigation.
• Oversee and supervise junior attorneys, review work product, provide feedback, and develop case strategies.
• Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings, argue motions, and handle depositions.
• Represent clients at hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Handle administrative charges, demand letters, and single-plaintiff matters, with potential for class actions and PAGA.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to deliver high-quality legal solutions.
