Job summary

Corebridge Financial seeks an actuarial/defined benefit pension specialist to underwrite and calculate pension risks, and to assemble contracts with actuarial rigor. The role may also manage onboarding projects across internal teams and support the call center with benefit calculations and reviews.

This position requires DB pension experience, strong communication, and the ability to draft and review pension provisions in contracts.

Qualifications

• Defined benefit pension plan experience required.
• Ability to interpret and draft complex pension provisions.
• Experience in Pricing, Valuation, Actuarial Modeling, Pension Administration or Contract work.
• Pension benefit calculation modelling, testing, or production experience.
• Project management experience; comfortable with ambiguity and cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Explain actuarial/pension topics to leadership in NJ.
• Serve as defined benefit pension plan expert within the company.
• Assess risks, calculate premiums, and draft contract terms affecting premiums.
• Guide onboarding and cross-functional collaboration.
• Design governance, controls, processes and procedures.
• Review actuarial calculations and methodologies.
• Support Operations and Valuation teams in new business implementation.
