Job summary

Solari, Inc. is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide empathetic, human-centered phone line support for individuals in recovery. The role emphasizes mutuality, hope, and person-first language, with a focus on connecting callers to resources rather than giving direct solutions.

The position requires lived recovery experience, a background in peer support, and the ability to work 100% remotely from Colorado. Shift differential may apply for evenings, weekends, and overnights.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Peer/Recovery Support Specialist or similar role.
• Lived recovery experience and ability to share experiences appropriately.
• At least 1 year of office volunteer or work experience.
• Certification as Peer/Recovery Support Specialist is preferred but not required.
• GED or high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic, human-centered phone support for callers in recovery.
• Use person-first language and assertive communication with callers.
• Connect with callers’ issues through mutuality and hope.
• Advise callers on coping strategies and resources.
• Promote recovery-based care and empower callers.
• Offer information about community-based services as appropriate.
• Document services and interactions in the health record per HIPAA.
• Identify crisis calls and connect to crisis services per policy.
• Support call center initiatives and maintain professional boundaries.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
