Job summary

Recovery Innovations is seeking a Peer Support Specialist I in Raleigh, NC. The role involves providing peer support, recovery training, and advocacy within a hospital/clinical setting.

You will work Thursday–Saturday and alternate Wednesdays, with an orientation and training phase onsite. The position pays $17.00–$18.00 per hour and requires Peer Support Certification and high school education.

Qualifications

• Peer Employment Training completed to certify as Peer Support Specialist.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use services.
• Ability to pass de-escalation training per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to engage individuals in a recovery partnership and identify goals.
• Maintain clinical documentation and comply with policies.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to arrange services and resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
