Job summary

Affect is seeking an empathetic Peer Support Specialist and Case Manager certified in Oregon to join our remote team. You will provide peer support services for substance use disorders and case management for members, collaborating with our clinical team to deliver non-clinical guidance, mentoring, and resources.

This full-time role is remote from Oregon, with a 40-hour work week and a salary range of $40,000 to $46,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a peer support specialist for people with substance use disorders is preferred.
• Must live in Oregon and have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable internet.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to members through one-on-one and group sessions to foster community and long-term recovery.
• Provide case management support with accessing community resources and overcoming barriers to treatment.
• Perform telephone outreach to potential members referred to Affect from referral partners.
• Provide education on wellness and recovery skills, serving as a mentor and role model.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
