Job summary

Affect is seeking a compassionate Peer Support Specialist and Case Manager certified in Oregon to join our team. You will provide peer support and case management for members with substance use disorders, working with our clinical team to deliver non-clinical support and resources.

Your lived recovery experience is valued as you help members navigate challenges and build resilience while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation in our EMR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Oregon OHA Peer Support Specialist certification required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a peer support specialist for people with substance use disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to members through one-on-one and group sessions to foster community and long-term recovery.
• Provide member case management support with accessing community resources and overcoming barriers to treatment.
• Perform telephone outreach to potential members referred to Affect from referral partners.
• Provide education on wellness and recovery skills as a mentor and role model.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
