Job summary

Pomelo Care is seeking a Pediatric Triage RN for the overnight 9pm–9am ET shift. This full-time role requires three 12-hour shifts per week with weekend and holiday rotations when applicable.

You will assess urgent pediatric concerns, triage via chat, phone, or video visits, and follow evidence-based protocols. You will document care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support remote monitoring of infants.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN, current unrestricted multi-state (compact) license.
• 3+ years experience in outpatient pediatric primary care, pediatric urgent care, or pediatric ER.
• Experience providing virtual, phone or in-person pediatric triage care.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work remotely via video, phone and text.

Responsibilities

• Assess urgent pediatric concerns and triage to appropriate Pomelo Care or emergency services.
• Follow evidence-based clinical protocols in triage and assessment.
• Provide ongoing clinical and psychosocial assessment of new pediatric patients.
• Identify barriers to care and address gaps in care.
• Educate patients on home monitoring equipment for remote infant health.
