Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for pediatric telephone triage. The role supports remote or call-center work within 1 hour of a center; 40 hours weekly across four 10-hour shifts; BSN preferred, RN license required.

Responsibilities include triage across diverse pediatric populations, coordinating care, documenting encounters, and communicating with practices and leadership.

Qualifications

• RN with pediatric experience preferred.
• Graduate from accredited nursing school.
• RN license in applicable state required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs telephone triage with pediatric population.
• Assesses needed care and coordinates with patients and care teams.
• Provides comprehensive nursing assessment in an untraditional setting.
• Participates in team conferences and supports patient education needs.
• Notifies practices, physicians, and care clients of encounters and concerns before office opening.
• Communicates operational concerns to leadership.
