Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking an Intake Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to perform comprehensive intake evaluations for youth and young adults in a fully remote role. You will partner with an interdisciplinary team to educate families and establish individualized care plans.

Ideal candidates hold a PMHNP-BC, a Master's in Nursing, and an active license with prescriptive authority in VA/MD/PA/NJ, plus at least one year of independent practice.

Qualifications

Master's degree in nursing; PMHNP-BC certification and licensure to practice.
At least 1 year of independent psychiatric experience under licensure.
Active PMHNP license in VA/MD/PA/NJ and prescriptive authority.
Willingness to work a minimum of 12 hours per week; fully remote position.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric intake evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults.
Build meaningful connections with patients and families from the first session; educate about care options.
Collaborate with the clinical team to match patients with the right ongoing provider and treatment.
