Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Remote Pediatric Developmental Specialist & Educator to guide families with infants and young children through tele-health. You will deliver personalized assessments, play-based activities, and evidence-based strategies, supporting developmental milestones from a fully online setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's or Doctoral degree in pediatric development or related fields, with at least four years of remote service delivery experience and a strong ability to engage

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Pediatric Development, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, OT, SLP, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with infants and young children with diverse developmental needs.
• Experience conducting developmental assessments and providing early intervention services.
• Proficient remote delivery of services via tele-health platforms and virtual tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual developmental screenings and assessments for infants and young children.
• Design and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities suitable for remote participation.
• Provide families with guidance on development stages, milestones, and concerns.
• Develop individualized educational plans to support cognitive, motor, and social-emotional growth.
• Educate parents on techniques for fostering development at home.
• Utilize tele-health platforms and digital tools to deliver services and maintain engagement.
• Maintain confidential client records and document progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare and education professionals remotely as needed.
• Stay current with research and best practices in pediatric development and early intervention.
• Offer ongoing support to families navigating their child’s developmental journey.
