Job summary

Creation Technologies, a global electronics manufacturer, is seeking an experienced PCB Layout & DFM Engineer. The role focuses on designing high-density multilayer PCBs, ensuring manufacturability and production readiness from schematics to fabrication data.

You will develop DFM methodologies, apply IPC standards, use Valor NPI for automated analysis, and lead design reviews with manufacturing and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or Data Management or equivalent.
• 10+ years PCB layout experience in a manufacturing or electronics development environment.
• 5+ years PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, or DFM experience.
• Experience designing multilayer, high-density PCB layouts.
• Proficiency in PCB layout tools (Altium preferred; Cadence Allegro/OrCAD/PADS a plus).
• Strong understanding of IPC standards and PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret Gerber data, BOMs, and DFM reports.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform DFM analysis on circuit card assemblies.
• Lead DFM/DFA assessments and automated manufacturability analysis.
• Review Gerber, BOM, centroid, and fabrication data for manufacturability.
• Prepare DFM reports and executive summaries with recommendations.
• Develop complex multilayer PCB layouts and related fabrication deliverables.
