Job summary

Entegee in Germantown, MD seeks an experienced PCB layout engineer to develop high-density, multi-layer boards from schematics and netlists. You will place components, route critical traces, and ensure signal integrity and EMI control while meeting milestones in compressed schedules.

You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams, support DFM/DFT reviews, and generate fabrication/assembly documentation. Advanced Cadence Allegro skills and IPC knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of PCB layout experience, senior-level preferred.
• Proficiency in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer/Editor.
• Strong IPC standards and fabrication/assembly knowledge.
• Experience with multilayer, controlled impedance routing.

Responsibilities

• Develop PCB layouts from released schematics, netlists, and requirements.
• Place components and route for complex multilayer boards with high density.
• Execute high-speed digital, power, RF, and mixed-signal layouts.
• Apply design techniques for signal integrity, power integrity, EMI, grounding, and thermal.
• Generate fabrication and assembly documentation.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to resolve layout challenges.
• Interface with PCB fabrication and suppliers to address questions.
• Support DFM/DFT reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Meet design milestones within compressed schedules.
