Job summary

Creation Technologies is seeking a PCB Layout & Design for Manufacturing Engineer to advance complex, high-density multilayer PCB designs from schematics through fabrication and assembly. You will drive DFM/DFT strategies, develop design standards, and collaborate with engineering to optimize manufacturability.

The role focuses on hands-on design and cross-functional influence across global teams, with hybrid work options and relocation flexibility for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or Data Management or equivalent technical expertise.
• 10+ years PCB layout experience in a manufacturing or electronics development environment.
• 5+ years supporting PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, or DFM activities.
• Extensive experience designing multilayer, high-density PCB layouts from schematics.
• Experience with PCB EDA tools; Altium preferred, familiarity with Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, or PADS.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFM and DFA assessments using Valor NPI and related tools.
• Develop, maintain, and improve DFM rule sets aligned with IPC standards and fabrication capabilities.
• Review Gerber, ODB++, BOM, centroid, and data packages for manufacturability.
• Lead DFM review meetings with manufacturing, process engineering, and quality.
• Prepare DFM reports, presentations, and executive summaries.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies to strengthen product manufacturability.
