Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Payroll Parallel Testing and Validation Lead to guide the parallel payroll testing for a large federal payroll modernization effort, ensuring accuracy and compliance across legacy and cloud-based systems.

You will design test plans, run cycles, analyze variances, and provide evidence for government cutover decisions, while working remotely in the United States with periodic on-site as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in system testing/validation or reconciliation.
• 7+ years in payroll parallel testing or payroll validation.
• Experience designing a comparison and reconciliation approach with population, grain, and tolerances.
• Ability to define acceptance criteria and variance tolerances with a client.
• Variance root-cause analysis across system boundaries.
• Working SQL and hands-on data comparison across two systems at population scale.

Responsibilities

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• All work is performed from within the United States and its territories, from a work location approved in advance by the customer.
• Develop the parallel payroll test plan, including cycles, population, comparison approach and variance tolerances.
• Execute parallel payroll test cycles and document results for each cycle.
• Perform gross-to-net comparison between legacy and modernized payroll results.
• Analyze and classify payroll variances to root cause.
• Document defects and coordinate resolution with the configuration, conversion and interface teams.
• Maintain the discrepancy log and supporting audit trail.
• Prepare test evidence and reporting for Government review and go/no-go decisions.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training on the comparison approach and supporting tools.
