Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Payroll Data Conversion and Migration professional to analyze legacy payroll data, map source-to-target data, and build ETL routines for a cloud-based payroll implementation in the United States.

The role covers data profiling, conversion lifecycle, and cutover activities with remote work from within the U.S. and periodic on-site as needed. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in data conversion are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Work is performed within the United States and its territories.
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in data conversion/migration on large enterprise implementations.
• Experience managing full conversion lifecycle from profiling to cutover.
• Experience creating field-level source-to-target mappings (version-controlled).
• Ability to work with undocumented schemas and derive structure empirically.
• Experience COBOL copybooks or fixed-width data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform source data analysis and profiling of legacy payroll, reference and accounting data.
• Develop and maintain source-to-target data mapping specifications.
• Develop ETL routines using Oracle HCM data loading tools.
• Conduct data quality assessments and prepare data cleansing specifications.
• Execute mock conversion cycles and document results and defects.
• Perform data reconciliation and validation between source and target systems.
• Analyze and resolve conversion defects with Government data owners.
• Support conversion cutover activities and post-conversion validation.
