Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Payroll Data Conversion and Migration specialist to support a cloud-based payroll implementation for federal agencies. Remote work within the United States with periodic on-site as required.

You will analyze legacy payroll data, design source-to-target mappings, develop ETL routines, and perform data quality checks and reconciliations. You’ll coordinate mock conversions and assist with cutover and post-load validation to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of data conversion or data migration experience.
• Extensive SQL skills with large datasets.
• Experience delivering full conversion lifecycle from profiling to cutover.
• Ability to reconcile converted data to source within tolerance agreed with client.
• Desirable: COBOL copybooks or fixed-width data handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform source data analysis and profiling of legacy payroll, reference and accounting data.
• Develop and maintain source-to-target data mapping specifications.
• Develop extract, transform and load routines using Oracle HCM data loading tools.
• Perform data quality assessment and data cleansing specifications.
• Execute mock conversion cycles and document results and defect disposition.
• Perform data reconciliation and validation between source and target systems.
• Support conversion cutover activities and post-conversion validation.
