Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax notices, amendments, and corrections with independence in a high-volume setting.

You will manage complex tax issues across multiple states, prepare amended returns, and mentor peers while expanding your technical depth. The role supports virtual SelectTime services with flexible hours (min 20 hrs/week, up to 40 hrs) and overtime eligibility as an hourly, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of hands-on payroll tax experience focused on notice resolution, amended return prep, and payroll error correction across multiple states.
• Experience reading IRS/state notices and determining resolution paths.
• Proven ability to prepare amended returns (Form 941-X, W-2c) and support correction workflows.
• Familiarity with payroll tax regulations (FICA, FUTA, FITW) and local taxes.
• Experience with multi-client environments (service bureau/PEO) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts including tax filings and payments.
• Research and resolve complex notices from state and federal agencies, from intake to closure.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation within deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns independently on complex amendments.
• Identify sources of payroll errors, document audit trails, and drive resolution to completion.
• Maintain thorough case documentation and manage WIP with SLA awareness.
