Job summary

Mastercam is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the Finance team in a remote US-based role. You will manage US and Canadian payroll processing, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliant records while partnering with HR and external providers. The role emphasizes analysis, data integrity, and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of payroll experience, multi-state US and Canadian payroll knowledge, and proficiency with ADP and HRIS systems. CPP/PCP credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• CPP/PCP or payroll credential is a plus.
• 5+ years payroll experience, multi-state US and Canadian payroll preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process US and Canadian payrolls accurately and on time using HRIS and payroll platforms.
• Validate taxes, deductions, and year-end reporting such as W-2 and T4 slips.
• Reconcile payrolls with general ledger and support month-end/year-end activities.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll questions.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data privacy and compliance.
