Job summary

Simera seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments while maintaining strict confidentiality of employee data. The role demands strong knowledge of payroll procedures, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

You will review time records, calculate wages and deductions, process updates (hires, terminations, salary changes), and reconcile payroll data across HRIS and payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing and payroll administration.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and comfortable with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time according to schedules.
• Review time records, hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions and other payroll data.
• Calculate wages, deductions, taxes, benefits and other payroll adjustments.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Process changes: hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes.
• Enter payroll data into payroll/HRIS systems correctly.
