Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 3+ years of direct payroll processing experience.
• Experience using Workday for payroll processing is required.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel is required.
• Union environment experience is strongly preferred.
• Professional experience with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and guidelines.
• Review payroll data for hourly and salary employees and ensure accuracy.
• Process payroll entries, corrections, and distributions in Workday.
• Handle garnishments, deductions, and wage verifications.
• Prepare and respond to payroll-related audits and queries.
• Support process improvement projects within the payroll team.
