Job summary

Premier Staffing Solution is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This fully remote role supports a growing staffing organization with multiple payrolls and compliance across federal, state, and local requirements.

You will handle end-to-end payroll processing, improve processes, and partner with HR, Accounting, Operations, and Recruiting to deliver accurate, timely payroll for a national workforce.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.
• Experience processing multiple payrolls simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll tax requirements.
• Experience using payroll and HRIS systems (ADP experience strongly preferred).
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Process multiple weekly and biweekly payrolls from start to finish.
• Review and validate payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
• Administer direct deposits, garnishments, tax withholding changes, and other payroll transactions.
• Process off-cycle payrolls and payroll corrections as needed.
• Coordinate final pay processing in accordance with state requirements.
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Assist with payroll tax notices, registrations, and compliance requirements.
• Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing.
• Maintain payroll documentation and audit records.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and increase efficiency.
