Aston Carter is actively seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage hands‑on and high‑volume U.S. payroll processing in a fully remote capacity.

The role supports a large North American employee population during a major system harmonization and transformation initiative, with occasional Canadian payroll duties. You will process, audit, and reconcile payroll data while collaborating with a distributed team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across weekly, biweekly, and semimonthly

Formación

• At least 4 years of hands-on Dayforce payroll processing experience.
• Ability to navigate employee profiles and payroll modules.
• Experience processing complex, high‑volume, multi‑state U.S. payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll reviews, audits, taxes, and garnishments.
• Experience supporting multiple payroll frequencies (weekly, biweekly, semimonthly).
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a payroll team.
• Strong communication, responsiveness, and self‑discipline in a remote work environment.

Responsabilidades

• Process high-volume U.S. payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support Canadian payroll processing, primarily for Ontario as needed.
• Calculate payroll, review results, perform audits, resolve discrepancies, and commit payroll timely.
• Review timesheets, payroll inputs, tax withholdings, garnishments for accuracy.
• Enter, update, and validate payroll data in payroll modules with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions.
• Run and interpret payroll audits and reports to verify data integrity.
• Support payroll projects including system harmonization and transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with payroll teammates and participate in peer reviews and cross‑functional checks.
• Follow union rules and requirements for union employees.
