Aston Carter is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations during a high-volume period. The role involves processing complex payrolls, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.

You will collaborate with HR and finance, handle timekeeping data, run payroll reports, and assist with audits and process improvements while meeting tight deadlines. This is a remote, contract position with flexible start times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience processing payroll in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of wage and hour regulations and payroll compliance.
• Experience with complex pay elements (shift differentials, overtime, bonuses).

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees accurately and confidentially.
• Validate and reconcile payroll data, including adjustments and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with policies and payroll laws; audit timekeeping records.
