CFS is seeking a fully remote Payroll Manager to lead a North American payroll operation, positioning for Director-level growth in 1-2 years. The role offers high visibility to shape payroll strategy, systems, and process improvements across a large enterprise environment.

You will oversee Dayforce, manage multi-state US and Canadian payroll for 5,000+ employees, and drive automation and AI initiatives while ensuring SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPP certification preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive payroll experience across US and Canadian payroll environments.
• 3+ years of direct leadership experience managing payroll teams within a large organization.
• Hands-on Dayforce administration, troubleshooting, reporting, and system optimization.
• Strong expertise in payroll taxes, SOX controls, regulatory compliance, audits, and year-end reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll operations for US & Canada employees.
• Develop and mentor payroll supervisors and analysts.
• Oversee Dayforce configuration, testing, and reporting.
• Ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness.
• Drive automation, AI initiatives, and process improvements.
